NELTON FISHER (1965-) - Caribbean Artist - Acrylic on Canvas - 20th Century

Late 20th century acrylic painting on canvas by Caribbean artist NELTON FISHER - circa 1990's. Signed by the artist in the lower left corner and initialled in the lower right corner. The over-all condition of this pre-owned item is excellent - no loss - no damage - the canvas is has some minor grime along the outside edges. Size - 16"W x 18 1/2"H x 1"D.
About the artist - Nelton Fisher was born May 28, 1965, in Albert Town, Trelawny, Jamaica. When he was a small child he lived with his grandmother and attended Maud McLeod Secondary School. He then moved to Anchovy to live with his father and attended Anchovy Secondary School. He is entirely self-taught and loved to paint from a very early age. One of his paintings was presented to the former Prime Minister of Jamaica, the Hon. Hugh Shearer. He is in many prestigious collections, and no Jamaican art collection could be said to be complete without his work.
