DAN DELANEY - Goose Rocks Beach, Maine - July 1998 - Framed American Watercolor

 

Contemporary American - Impressionist style - watercolor painting on paper by DAN DELANEY - signed by the artist in the lower right corner - titled in the lower right corner Goose Rocks, M. (Goose Rocks Beach, Maine) - dated '98 July. Tastefully - float framed - under glass in a simple contemporary gilt frame - also matted and inset with a simple white filet. This original artwork has not been viewed outside the frame. The over-all condition of the painting appears to be excellent - strong, bright color - no stains or tears in the paper. The matte board and filet appear in excellent condition - there appears to be a couple specks of dust between the matte and the glass. The gilt frame has a few issues - the frame itself is sound - the gilding at the corners is chipped - there are numerous scratches as photographed (the frame could be re-gilt or painted). The dust cover at the back is missing - easy to replace. Size of watercolor - 8"W x 5 1/2"H. Frame size - 15 1/2"W x 13"H x 1 1/8"D.
