Set of Twelve Hand-Made Studio Pottery Botanical Medallions/Tiles - 20th Century

Set of twelve vintage, unique and decorative - hand-made - studio pottery botanical medallions or tiles - from the 20th century. Each ceramic rondel is completely hand-made depicting a different botanical specimen - these include, but are not limited to - geranium leaves - ivy leaves - dandelion leaves as well as examples of grasses and other greenery. Each leaf grouping is hand-painted with a combination of blue and green glossy glazes - all set against a chocolate brown background glaze with a grainy finish. Raised edges to the perimeter of each piece - a few are marked with the initials AC on the back. They would look wonderful mounted into a decorative shadow box frame - all together or in multiples - or as part of a tile project. The over-all condition of these pre-owned vintage items is excellent - two of the tiles appear to have old un-noticeable repairs - even with the repairs there is no loss to the tiles themselves - variations and minor wear to each medallion consistent with vintage and hand-made items. Size of each piece - 2 5/8" Diameter x 3/16" Deep.
